On our visit to the Royal Society, we were lucky to present our findings on the Gaia project.
The Gaia project involves analysing data from the European Space Agency- in order to locate and hopefully find supernovae.
At the Royal Society, there were different schools from the entire country- all presenting their scientific investigations. At the poster reception, there were various people from different universities and people who worked for the Royal Society. They were all very enthusiastic about our project as they were asking us questions about it as well as contacting us to do more work with them. I enjoyed this entire experience because it is a dream for all science students to be able to present their findings to an audience, we were lucky enough to do this in Year 12!
It was a fantastic experience, which has really boosted my understanding of the scientific world as well as boosting my personal skills.
